The body can react to stress be it physical, mental or emotional, nutritional, environmental you name it. The bodies reaction can create a sympathetic response in the physiology and the body creates a snapshot or memory of that trauma or experience or stress, and it is stored away in the physiology of your body to protect you. This can distort your response or perception to stimuli or input, and how you function and heal. Your body then can create a pattern of ill health or unhealthy function over time.
What I do as a chiropractor is assess your physiology and structure and begin to interrupt patterns of sympathetic dominance and overtime your brain and physiology will start to perceive your environment more clearly and calmly. This is where you begin to heal and begin to function better – That is what chiropractic does.
