Doctor Profile

Dr. Wendy Coburn is a chiropractor with a mission.  Her mission is to serve you, your family and community and to make a difference.  Dr. Coburn wishes to see everyone reach their true potential in life and not be hindered due to preventable poor health issues.

Dr. Coburn started chiropractic not just as a doctor in 1999 but as a patient in 1989.  In 1989 Dr. Coburn was in a car accident that left her 2 months later not able to walk properly or stand straight.  Through working with several doctor’s across Canada before graduation Dr. Coburn discovered more and more about the necessity of chiropractic for everyone.  Not just for those who are in pain.  Far from it.  Chiropractic is a lifestyle, along with proper nutrition, exercise, balance of family, play, work, and spirituality.

Through her studies Dr. Coburn has been more focused on family care and is working on her pediatric fellowship through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association.  Ensuring our future, our children have the best start possible in their life from day one.  Staying healthy is easier than treating disease.

Dr. Coburn is married to Kevin, and they share their home with their dog Sailor (12 years of age).  Hobbies and extracurricular activities keep the family active.  These include triathlons, water skiing in the summer of course, horse back riding, weight training, bikram/ashtanga yoga, hiking, downhill skiing, and dog park walks.  Other endeavors include book club, and being active within the community with the Edmonton Glenora Rotary Club, volunteering within the Crestwood Community, and a Member of the Edmonton Executive Association.
